Filter housing for hot tubs

Reusable Filter Containers / Filter Housings for Hot Tubs

At Ego3, we not only invented the best hot tub filter, but also the most environmentally friendly one, because it significantly reduces residual waste, the filter balls are produced as part of a circular economy, and they can be reused again and again. At Ego3, we have a responsibility to our customers to produce the most affordable and best Spa filter, as well as a responsibility to our environment.

The Ego3 filter housing is reusable indefinitely. We have separated the filter housing from the filter material. This means that you only need to buy the filter container (which holds the filter material) once. From then on, all you need to do is wash the filter material every 8 weeks and replace it with new filter balls once a year. Your first set already contains 10 years' worth of refills. This saves you a lot of money, gives you cleaner hot tub water, reduces your workload, and helps protect the environment.

Filter material is made from recycled materials

And our environmental commitment starts right from the beginning. The filter material (the filter balls) is already made from recycled materials. The fibers come from recycled PET fibers from old plastic bottles, old PET packaging materials, and so on.

Filter housings and filter material are recyclable

And even when you have to replace the 12 filter balls after a year, or the filter housing can no longer be used after 10-15 years, you can of course send them into a recycling system. Both the filter container and the filter material are not composite materials, but single-material plastics, and can therefore be ideally recycled.

Cartridge filters, on the other hand, generate incredible amounts of residual waste when viewed worldwide, which can only be sent to a landfill or incinerated. Each year, the waste generated by paper cartridge filters for hot tubs is estimated at around 9000m3.
